DURING THE COVID-19 PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY
Basic Health Guidelines
- 25% capacity (all with face coverings)
- We conduct general health screens (questionnaire), as well as temperature checks.
- Visitors are only permitted entry if they are wearing acceptable face coverings. Extra face coverings provided, in the event of a mask breaking or is misplaced.
- 6 ft distancing maintained
- We prohibit the use of small spaces (small rooms) by more than one individual at a time
- Posted signage consistent with DOH guidelines
- Sanitizer and and other disinfecting equipment is abundant, along with appropriate signage on how to clean and disinfect properly.
- We conduct regular cleaning and disinfection of the building and more frequent cleaning for high risk areas used by many individuals for frequently touched surfaces.
Science ClubWeekly After School Program
Students interested in anything science are welcome to come in and work with hands-on experiments and activities. Each week discover something new about the universe that surrounds you. LEGO ActivitiesIntroduction to EV3 Robotics and First LEGO League (FLL)
Build and program a robot. Use your EV3 LEGO programming skills to face various challenges. Work in teams or alone to maneuver your robot across the exciting game board and compete with other teams. New participants welcome. For ages 9-14. (For those ages 7-8, please inquire as to spaces available in our program.) Our FLL LEGO Robotics league team is for ages 9- 14. The 2020 First Lego League (FLL) LEGO Robotics league tournament season begins in August, 2020. There is a new challenge each season - it is focused on a new topic each year and ends with a local and state competitions in November. FREE admission. Join at any time. STEM 2035
C3 - Connect, Challenge, Change
C3 is an activity-based after school program with an emphasis on STEM education. This program is designed to increase the availability of STEM-related after school options in Lockport and surrounding areas, and is FREE.
We go on occasional field trips to local museums and businesses in efforts to inspire students to pursue careers in STEM. Open to students in grades 5-9.
This program is partnered with:Youth Mentoring Services, YMCA, YWCA, Salvation Army, New Beginnings, Prayer Room Ministries, History Center, Keenan Center

Wednesday 3:30-5:00pm @Salvation Army
Thursday 3:00-4:30pm @Emmet Belknap
