Executive Director

The CLC-ONE Executive Director (ED) is a part-time (averaging 30-35 hours per week) position reporting directly to the CLC-ONE Board of Directors with the primary responsibility for the successful operation and growth of the Center. The ED will insure that the Center achieves its vision to help build a community where students develop the ability to command their own destinies and to be a safe and friendly learning destination for everyone. The ED serves at the pleasure of the Board, shall possess the following qualifications and skills, and have responsibility for effective Center operations and interactions in five distinct areas. Hourly rate commensurate with qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor's degree, with a preference towards a degree in education or the sciences.
• Training in or knowledge of business operations.
• Previous experience working in a planetarium, museum, and/or a similar educational setting.
• Classroom teaching or academic administration experience.
• Grant writing or fundraising experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability and willingness to work variable, non-routine hours
