What is a Challenger Learning Center?
Challenger Center and its global network of Challenger Learning Centers use space-themed simulated learning and role-playing strategies to help students bring their classroom studies to life and cultivate skills needed for future success, such as problem solving, critical thinking, communication and teamwork.

What does a Challenger Learning Center offer?
  • Mission simulations based on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) standards for different grade levels.
  • Individuals assume the role of a mission specialist operating a space station and mission control to navigate the space craft and complete the mission while overcoming problems.
  • Individuals work as a problem solving team performing jobs that mirror science and technology careers in the real world.
  • Individuals conduct experiments and model real astronauts during their space mission.

Can I schedule a group activity?
Most of our facilities and programs are designed for groups, so yes absolutely! Please contact us, and we can set up an event to fit your needs.

With what groups are you partnered?
  • School groups of up to 30 students - multiple classes/groups can attend on the same day by splitting between a Space Mission and planetarium program.
  • Youth groups, scouts troops, home schooling groups can attend on most non-school days as a class, workshop or a team building event.
  • Birthday parties, family reunions and athletic teams all take part in Challenger Learning Center!
