Planetarium Programs

Live planetarium shows for all ages
You can have a stellar experience that brings space to life! We combine the best of both planetarium presentations and hands-on activities on a variety of astronomy and science topics. Our Digitarium Delta 4 Digital Planetarium System allows us to fly to all the planets, their moons, and dwarf planets. Our planetarium makes celestial bodies appear and move realistically to simulate the complex motions of the heavens.
  • Learn how to identify all the planets of our solar system in dramatic flights up close to each world!
  • Learn about Greek mythological (or other cultural sky stories) characters and see how these heroes of the past can be found in the stars!
  • Witness the night sky in different seasons and from different global perspectives!

Mobile Planetarium
Our planetarium can come to you! If you're hosting an event, we can make it that much more entertaining and interesting with our planetarium. Our dome's capacity is 20 adult, or 25 elementary school kids. If your event has more people, we run shows consecutively on a 30-40 minute schedule.

The CLC Planetarium can be quickly and easily set up in most gymnasiums or other large rooms with a high (11ft or higher) ceiling. The mobile planetarium has inspired students in many local schools in the Buffalo and Niagara Falls area, and we are confident that you will be thrilled by the excitement and enchantment a live planetarium program offers. All presentations are tailored for each age group (K-12) and will provide appropriate academic content.

Stargazing around the World
This planetarium show highlights star stories from around the world. Constellations are not universal! Many different places around the globe have drastically different stories written in the stars. Come see a multi-cultural based planetarium show, and learn something new about the stories behind the  stars.
The Grand Tour
Explore our cosmic back yard, the solar system, in an interactive planetarium show which focuses on the planets, their moons, and everything in-between.
