We are currently hiring for a Marketing Intern. This is a temporary position, (20-25 hours per week) which will extend up to a total of 300 hours between Mid-May and the end of August 2019. Pay rate is $12.50/hour. Hours are flexible and will depend on the current project.  Dress code is office casual.

• Work with current staff on marketing opportunities      for after school, summer programming, student simulated space missions and planetarium programs.
• Work with current staff to update the digital presence of the CLC on-line, as a website and other digital venues
• Work with current staff to create special single or multi day events, creating digital, poster and other forms of PR for these events

Job description
Work with current staff on marketing opportunities for after school, summer programming, student simulated space missions and planetarium presentations.

Work with current staff to update the digital presence of the CLC on-line, as a website and other digital venues

Work with current staff to create special single or multi day events, creating digital, poster and other forms of PR for these events.

Projects may include, but will not be limited to:

• Development  and creation of a social media digital and video marketing plan to promote youth education programs, school district based simulated space missions and planetarium programming . 
• Assist in up-dating and maintaining CLC website
• Develop marketing tools through multi media platforms to reach a broad audience.
• Social Media planning (develop social calendar, develop creative assets)
• Develop additional programming for digital planetarium presentations (optional)

Qualifications

• Education - currently enrolled in NCCC or NU with media, marketing or business emphasis and courses, graphic design and video production work is a plus
• This internship will involve the creation on a Media marketing tools to advertise programs to youth and families. 
• Excellent computer skills and database management – knowledge of Microsoft Office, Raiser’s Edge or Greater Giving is a plus, but not necessary
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service and attention to detail,
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask, flexibility a plus

Working Conditions
